Beet and Dried Cherry Ricotta Toast

Ricotta Spread

Ingredients

  • 15 oz. ricotta
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced green onion
  • ¼ teaspoon MSG
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

  1. Combine all ingredients for the spread

Beet and Dried Cherry Topping

Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely diced roasted/cooked beets
  • 1 cup finely chopped dried cherries
  • 1 Tablespoon pomegranate molasses
  • A few pinches of salt and MSG

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients for the topping

Finishing the Toast

Ingredients

  • 5 slices of rye bread
  • Pomegranate molasses
  • Minced parsley
  • Pecan pieces

Instructions

  1. Toast bread
  2. Coat toasts with a thick layer of the ricotta spread
  3. Top with the beet and dried cherry topping
  4. Drizzle with pomegranate molasses
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and pecans
